2). System will start downloading. Once the download is complete, double click on the RAR file to extract it in a folder.
3). Double click on Candela 12.0.6.0 32 bit (Pharmacy)/Candela 12.0.6.0 64 bit (Pharmacy) file to run and install.

Which Barcode printers are supported by Candela?
Candela provides Barcode printing on two different types of printers. One is the standard laser printer which uses pre-designed sticker sheets. Other option is to use Barcode printers. For this option Candela provides integration with two different printer types: TSC Barcode Printers and Zebra Barcode Printers.

1. TSC TTP 244 Plus

2. Zebra TLP 2844

3. Zebra ZM 400 / ZM 600

Note: All models of Zebra Printers which use ZPL or EPL are expected to be supported by Candela but above listed models are tested and their working is verified.

For all these printers Barcodes can be designed in Candela using the Barcode Designer. The barcode designer is available in Menu: Utilities > Setup & Configuration > Customize Barcode Printing

Which Customer Display (Pole Display) are supported by Candela?
Candela supports the following Customer Displays:

1. VFD 450

2. VFD 460

3. VFD 650

4. VFD 850

These devices come with Serial interface (RS232 – DB9) and also with USB interface. If You buy a device with USB interface then it should come with a Driver for your operating system. This driver will install “Virtual COM Port” on your computer. While making an invoice the Pole Display shows the items which are scanned and running total of the invoice. For this device to work you have to do some configuration in Candela through Menu: Utilities > Setup & Configuration > Shop Configuration. On this screen there is section “Customer Display Unit Configuration”. Here “Check” the “Enable Customer Display Unit” check box and then select the serial port on which this Customer Display is connected (e.g. COM20). Remember, this COM port is not physical but this is virtual, created by the driver software

I want to connect Cash Drawers with Candela. Which Cash Drawer Should I Buy?
Cash Drawers which work with POS systems come with following three different interfaces:

1. Cash Drawers with RJ11 interface – These type of cash drawers are suitable if you have a receipt printer which has RJII jack (also labeled as DK). Generally the retail printers (usually 3.5″ wide paper) has this option available. You just need to plug the wire coming from Cash Drawer into the printer. Now whenever you send a invoice for printout to the printer, the cash drawer automatically opens up. If you have this type of printer then you should buy Cash Drawer with RJ11 jack.

2. Cash Drawers with Serial Port (DB9) – These Cash Drawers provide a serial cable (RS232 – DB9) which should be connected to the serial port of your POS Computer. Before You buy this type of Cash Drawer Please make sure that your computer has 9-pin serial port available. Candela supports these Cash Drawers. Whenever you send a invoice for printout to the printer, the cash drawer automatically opens up. For this device to work you have to do some configuration in Candela through Menu: Utilities > Setup & Configuration > Shop Configuration. On this screen there is section “Cash Drawer Configuration”. Here “Check” the “Enable Cash Drawer” check box and then select the serial port on which this Cash Drawer is connected (e.g. COM1)
